Other Projects

Projects that I have worked on vary from short films to experimental films to promotional videos. I love creating something new and experimenting. Especially during film school I had the chance to try things out and get out of my comfort zone. Have a look at the different projects here:

As part of Kelsey Erickson’s research into doping in sport, we made this video which is based on the interviews with whistleblowers who have to remain anonymous. In collaboration with Leeds Beckett University and World Anti Doping Agency.

"Superstar Wonderful Weirdos" is a song by Alanis Morissette. The videoclip was made as part of a competition on genero.tv where one video would be chosen by Alanis Morissette as the official videoclip. My video was one of the final four. Check it out here.

Cinematography by Engel Mulder.

"World of Boxes" was a graduation project from Ruth McNulty, who graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. The film was used as a backdrop in front of which a dance piece was performed. This project was a beautiful collaboration between dance, film, music and words.

Isis was a film I made in 2011 in my second year of my BA at the Utrecht School of the Arts. It was shown at Eindhoven Film Festival and came in second place at Young Art Short Film Award. Isis (8) wants to be like her older sister Amber (15), who is too busy with being a teenager. Isis is too old for her own toys and wants to be more grown-up. Just like her parents, her sister doesn’t have time for her and Isis ends up in her room with her childish toys. But when Amber goes out with her friends, Isis sneaks into Amber’s room and creates her own world in which she is just like her sister.
